Our Stories on stage?

For many of our shows (like most professional theatre productions across Canada), ticket sales cover less than half of our actual production expenses. The rest of our funding comes from governmental grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.

Our shows attract tourists to the region, bring local residents to the downtown core, and provide dynamic employment opportunities for artists. Plus, New West Theatre plays an invaluable role in contributing to the vibrant cultural activities of southern Alberta, by showcasing ‘Our Stories’ for the community.

For more than two decades, we have been awed by the enthusiastic support of our loyal audiences. If you would like to help New West Theatre keep sharing ‘Our Stories,’ we encourage you to consider making a donation; you could direct your funds to a specific show, our Summer Theatre Camps, or any aspect of our activities.

New West Theatre is a Non Profit Society in Alberta and is registered by the Canada Revenue Agency as a charitable organization. Donations $20 and higher will receive a tax receipt.
