New West Theatre holds general auditions throughout the year.

Casting for our summer music-comedy revue shows usually takes place in January. Casting for our October to May productions usually takes place three or more months before each production.

New West Theatre casts both non-Equity actors and Equity actors (on Guest Artist contracts).

Playwrights

New West Theatre has been involved in the development of several new Canadian plays. In the coming years, we hope to allocate even more resources to supporting Canadian playwrighting voices.
